Immobiliser Remove / Bypass Service
Although immobiliser units are now common anti-theft systems, there are some cases in which it may be necessary to bypass them in order to save hassles, time and/or money. Our immobiliser removal service is a cost-effective and quick solution when you are having immobiliser problems that cannot be repaired, or when it is too expensive to proceed with a complex repair.
After bypassing the immobiliser, your ECU won’t look for the code produced by your remote key’s transponder. Thus, your car, motorbike or van will start as long as the correct key blade is inserted into the ignition. They are several situations where bypassing the immobiliser is the best option to solve your immobiliser problems. Contact our engineer team and they will advise you about the best possible solution for your immobiliser issues.
In what situations is immobiliser removal recommended?
- For a quick and cost-effective alternative to immobiliser repair.
- After fitting a second-hand ECU, so that it will work with no programming needed.
- If the customer is after an engine conversion and for motorsport vehicles.
What are the most common issues with immobilisers?
- Key not turning in ignition.
- Intermittent non-turning fault.
- Key turns in ignition but won’t crank.
- Ignition light stays on in the dashboard.
- Vehicle won’t start when it’s cold weather.
How long will my repair take?
Since the date we receive your immobiliser at our premises, we will usually dispatch it back to you in 2 to 5 working days, depending on the workload in the repair centre.
Please bear in mind that some complex repairs may take a bit longer to be completed.
Do you offer any kind of warranty in your repairs?
Of course we do! We always test all our repaired items before sending them back to our customer. But if for any reason you are still having the same issues with your immobiliser, you are covered by our warranty statement. Please check our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Where can I find the immobiliser box in my vehicle?
If you can’t find the immobiliser unit in your vehicle, don’t worry, we are here to help. Contact us and one of our highly-skilled engineers will provide you with instructions about the location of the immobiliser unit in your specific car, van or motorbike.
